Abstract
High adventure recreation for those with a disability might seem to be a wild idea, one that does not fit with the mental image of outdoor recreation. However, it does not have to be such an unusual concept. It is worth investigating how high adventure programs could be made adaptable to the needs of those with a disability. In taking a slightly different approach to a thesis by looking at a gap in a business sector and proposing suggestions for an existing or new organization to take and apply – there can be an expansion of the market offerings to close the gap.
